Data Analytics Manager

As a leading company in mobile game publishing and incubation, ViVA Games Studios is looking for a new Data Analytics Manager to help grow the department and invest in new talent. We’re looking for a candidate to lead the team and master the Google Cloud Platform (#GCP), actively contributing to analytics projects by writing custom #Python packages tailored for the #gaming industry.

Your future at Studio
● Requirements gathering: Understand and capture the data needs of key stakeholders, defining and reporting on success metrics across operations.
● Data source research & management: Proactively identify and integrate new data sources while automating and maintaining data pipelines for efficient and accurate delivery.
● Correlation analysis: Explore relationships between various metrics to refine strategic decision-making through a deeper understanding of data interactions.
● Data integrity & observability: Ensure full integrity and observability of datasets through rigorous validation and monitoring processes.
● Advanced reporting: Develop and maintain advanced dashboards using Looker Studio, delivering valuable insights to support operations and development teams.
Skills and requirements
● Education: Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
● Advanced SQL experience: Strong SQL skills to transform large datasets into meaningful analytics.
● Proficiency in Python: Solid programming abilities in Python, with a focus on data analytics.
● Cloud data pipeline experience: Preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar tools (AWS/Azure).
● ETL pipeline knowledge: Hands-on experience in designing and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
● Database management: Experience managing relational database architectures, query optimization, and schema design.
● Communication skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Spanish and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
● Adaptability to new tech: Proven ability to learn and apply new technologies creatively.
● Gaming industry knowledge: Familiarity with the gaming industry and monetization strategies on Android and iOS platforms is a plus.
● Nice to have: Experience with Looker Studio.
