Genera founded, partners with top telcos

Genera is founded and rapidly becomes a top content provider for the main European telecom carriers, like Vodafone and Telefonica.

2013

Frozen Free Fall hits $150M, major IP deals

We create Frozen Free Fall, which has generated over $150 million. The success and business model allowed us to establish partnerships with Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Warner, DreamWorks, Universal, Sony, CBS, Mattel, Hasbro, Capcom, and many others.

2017

VIVA founded for publishing & investment

VIVA is founded as an independent division of Genera, focused on publishing & investing in studios. Growth and innovation are the pillars of this new initiative.

2019

Genjoy founded, launches Tuscany Villa

Genjoy is founded as the biggest standalone studio of Genera, specialized in the narrative match 3 puzzle genre and developing their own Ip: “Tuscany Villa”.

Brix Block Blast sold to Playtika

“Brix Block Blast”, a VIVA Games title, is acquired by Playtika in a multi million dollar deal.

2020

250 staff, 20+ studios, Genjoy joins Scopely

Genera, VIVA and Genjoy reach together 250 employees and over 20 studios. Genjoy is acquired by Scopely. Official Announcement. Genjoy is focused on Monopoly GO!

2021

VIVA #1 Spanish publisher on Google Play

In just 4 years VIVA Games hits #1 as the Spanish company with more downloads in Google Play.

VIVA reaches $10M yearly revenue
